How to style your posts in the Movers Forum

Here is a simple guide to making your posts clear and easy to read.

Start with the toolbar

When you write a reply or new topic, use the editor buttons above the box: bold, italic, lists, links, and quotes. If you do not see a bar, look for a Visual or Full editor toggle.

Plain tricks that work

• Lead with the point. First line = what you need or what you learned.
• Short paragraphs. Two or three sentences beat a novel.
• Bullet lists for gear, crew size, lane, or “what I tried.”
• Numbered lists for steps (“1. Measure truck door 2. …”).

Example: before and after

Posting for crew in a specific location? Say where first — city, state, and dates — so the right movers see it (for example Help Needed (Jobs & Crews)).

Before (hard to scan):

Need three movers in Raeford to pack Tuesday and load Wednesday. Reply if available.

After (same request, styled):

Location: Raeford, NC
Need: 3 movers
Pack: Tuesday the 14 — ~10,000 lbs
Load: Wednesday the 15
